This describes what the app actually does. Every sentence corresponds to code in the application's repository, because a privacy policy nobody can check is not a promise, it is advertising.

In short

OB Wallet creates no account, asks for no identity, and does not know who you are. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier. The only thing the app ever sends to us is what you type into the optional Buy screen (section 3 below); if you never use it, nothing reaches us.

But “no data leaves the device” would be a lie, and this is the document where that lie is not told. To show your balance the app has to ask somebody “what is at this address?” You are the one asking, but there are third parties who hear the question.

What never leaves the device

  • Your recovery phrase (12 words). Stored sealed; the key that unseals it is generated inside the phone's secure hardware and never leaves it (iOS: Secure Enclave; Android: Keystore/StrongBox).
  • Your private keys. Signing happens on the phone. The signed transaction leaves; the key does not.
  • Your unlock code.
  • Your name, email and phone number — because they are never asked for.

This does not rest on our good intentions: the app has no address to send them to.

What leaves the device, and to whom

Sections 1, 2 and 4 go straight to the service named, never to us, and that service's own privacy policy applies. Section 3 is ours.

1. Balance and history queries

The app asks about the public addresses you hold. Whoever answers sees which addresses, on which chain, at what moment — and your IP address. This is the weakest point in any claim that the app collects nothing, and the code says so itself.

Default providers: publicnode.com, drpc.org, Blockscout, the Etherscan family (Etherscan, BscScan, PolygonScan, BaseScan, Arbiscan, Snowtrace), Routescan, TronGrid, Blockstream, mempool.space.

You can change them. The provider list is visible in settings, editable, and you can point the wallet at your own node. That is not a convenience feature; it is what this section is for.

2. Prices

Which assets you want priced goes to CoinGecko (api.coingecko.com). Your addresses do not — only questions of the form “what is Bitcoin worth”.

3. Buying with money (optional)

Buying is provided through Sardium (api.sardium.com), a service operated by Metaverse Trading Ltd, the publisher of this app. When you start a purchase, the app sends Sardium the receiving wallet address, the asset and network, the amount and the currency. Sardium passes these, together with your country and your IP address, to the licensed payment partner that carries out the purchase (currently Meld, Onramper, Transak or TransFi), which uses them to route the payment and to prevent fraud. Sardium does not store your IP address.

When you enter an amount and tap See offers, before any purchase starts, the same details (address, asset and network, amount, currency) go to Sardium once more; Sardium reads your country and IP address from your connection and asks the payment partner which providers quote that amount. No purchase record is created at this step; picking a provider from the list starts the purchase described below.

Sardium never holds your coins: the crypto you buy is sent by the payment partner straight to your own wallet address.

The payment itself happens in your system browser, on the partner's pages. It is deliberately not embedded in the app. Your identity documents and card details go to that partner under its own privacy policy; neither the app nor Sardium sees them. After the purchase, the partner tells Sardium the name and email address it verified for the payer; Sardium uses them only to check that the person who paid is the person the purchase was for (fraud prevention) and deletes them after 12 months.

From the moment you start a purchase, Sardium keeps a record of it: the wallet address, amounts, currencies, status and, once the partner reports it, the blockchain transaction reference. The record exists even if you do not complete the payment. These records are kept for as long as our legal and anti-money-laundering record-keeping obligations require (under UK rules, generally five years after the transaction) and are then deleted.

Never open the Buy screen and nothing reaches Sardium.

4. Block explorers (optional)

Tapping a transaction opens the relevant explorer (etherscan.io, mempool.space, tronscan.org…) in your browser. Do not tap, and it does not open.

Camera

For reading QR codes, only while the scanning screen is open. No image is stored or sent; the decoded text goes to the screen and stays there.

What is stored on the phone

Your wallet, your settings and your saved recipients live in the app's own storage. That storage is excluded from cloud backup — the hardware key that opens the vault cannot travel to a new phone, so a copy that travelled would not open anyway.

Data deletion

OB Wallet has no account to delete. Removing the app removes everything it stored on the phone.

The only records we hold are the purchase records described in section 3, and only if you used Buy. To ask for them to be deleted:

  1. Email kyb@metaversetradingltduk.com with the subject “OB Wallet data deletion request”.
  2. Include the wallet address(es) you bought to. We never learn your name, so the address is the only way to find your records. We may ask you to show that the address is yours.
  3. We reply within 30 days and delete the records we are not legally required to keep. Anything we must keep (see section 3) is deleted as soon as that obligation ends, and we tell you what was kept and why.

What your payment partner holds (identity, card, payment history) is deleted through that partner.

Children

The app is not directed at anyone under 18.

If this text changes, its date changes with it.

Özet

OB Wallet hesap açtırmaz, kimlik istemez, sizi tanımaz. Ne analitik, ne çökme raporlaması, ne reklam kimliği. Uygulamanın bize gönderdiği tek şey, isteğe bağlı Satın al ekranına girdiklerinizdir (aşağıda 3. madde); o ekranı hiç kullanmazsanız bize hiçbir şey gelmez.

1. Bakiye ve işlem geçmişi sorguları

Uygulama, sahip olduğunuz açık adresleri sorgular. Sorguyu alan taraf şunu görür: hangi adresler, hangi zincirde, hangi anda soruldu — ve IP adresiniz. Bu, “hiçbir şey toplanmıyor” iddiasının en zayıf noktasıdır ve kodun kendisi de böyle söyler.

2. Fiyatlar

Seçtiğiniz para birimindeki karşılığı için CoinGecko'ya (api.coingecko.com) hangi varlıkların fiyatının sorulduğu gider. Adresleriniz gitmez — yalnızca “Bitcoin kaç lira” türünden sorular.

3. Fiat ile alım (isteğe bağlı)

Satın alma, bu uygulamanın yayıncısı Metaverse Trading Ltd'nin işlettiği Sardium hizmeti (api.sardium.com) üzerinden sağlanır. Bir alım başlattığınızda uygulama Sardium'a alıcı cüzdan adresini, varlığı ve ağı, tutarı ve para birimini gönderir. Sardium bunları, ülkeniz ve IP adresinizle birlikte alımı gerçekleştiren lisanslı ödeme ortağına (şu an Meld, Onramper, Transak veya TransFi) iletir; ortak bunları ödemeyi yönlendirmek ve sahtekârlığı önlemek için kullanır. Sardium IP adresinizi saklamaz.

Tutarı girip Teklifleri gör'e bastığınızda, alım başlamadan önce aynı bilgiler (adres, varlık ve ağ, tutar, para birimi) Sardium'a bir kez daha gider; Sardium ülkenizi ve IP adresinizi bağlantınızdan okuyarak ödeme ortağından bu tutar için teklif listesini alır. Bu adımda hiçbir alım kaydı oluşmaz; listeden bir sağlayıcı seçtiğinizde aşağıda anlatılan alım başlar.

Sardium coininizi hiçbir zaman tutmaz: satın aldığınız kripto, ödeme ortağı tarafından doğrudan sizin cüzdan adresinize gönderilir.

Ödemenin kendisi sistem tarayıcınızda, ortağın sayfalarında yapılır. Uygulamanın içine gömülü değildir; bu bilinçli bir karardır. Kimlik belgeleriniz ve kart bilgileriniz o ortağa, onun gizlilik politikasıyla gider; ne uygulama ne Sardium bunları görür. Alımdan sonra ortak, ödeyen kişi için doğruladığı adı ve e-posta adresini Sardium'a bildirir; Sardium bunları yalnızca ödeyenin, alımın yapıldığı kişiyle aynı olup olmadığını kontrol etmek (sahtekârlık önleme) için kullanır ve 12 ay sonra siler.

Bir alımı başlattığınız andan itibaren Sardium onun kaydını tutar: cüzdan adresi, tutarlar, para birimleri, durum ve ortak bildirdiğinde blokzincir işlem referansı. Ödemeyi tamamlamasanız da bu kayıt oluşur. Bu kayıtlar yasal ve kara para aklamayı önleme kayıt yükümlülüklerimizin gerektirdiği süre boyunca (Birleşik Krallık kurallarına göre genellikle işlemden sonra beş yıl) saklanır, ardından silinir.

Satın al ekranına hiç girmezseniz Sardium'a hiçbir şey gitmez.

4. Blok gezginleri (isteğe bağlı)

Bir işlemin ayrıntısına bakmak için dokunduğunuzda ilgili gezgin (etherscan.io, mempool.space, tronscan.org…) tarayıcınızda açılır. Dokunmazsanız açılmaz.

Kamera

QR kod okumak için, yalnızca okuma ekranındayken. Görüntü kaydedilmez, hiçbir yere gönderilmez; okunan metin ekrana döner ve orada kalır.

Telefonda saklananlar

Cüzdanınız, ayarlarınız ve kayıtlı alıcılarınız telefonun kendi alanında durur. Bu alan buluta yedeklenmez — kasayı açan donanım anahtarı yeni bir telefona taşınamayacağı için, taşınmış bir kopya zaten açılamazdı.

Veri silme

OB Wallet'ta silinecek bir hesap yoktur. Uygulamayı kaldırmak, telefonda sakladığı her şeyi kaldırır.

Bizde duran tek kayıt, 3. maddede anlatılan alım kayıtlarıdır; o da yalnızca Satın al'ı kullandıysanız. Silinmelerini istemek için:

  1. kyb@metaversetradingltduk.com adresine “OB Wallet veri silme talebi” konulu bir e-posta gönderin.
  2. Alım yaptığınız cüzdan adres(ler)ini yazın. Adınızı hiç öğrenmediğimiz için kayıtlarınızı bulmanın tek yolu adrestir. Adresin size ait olduğunu göstermenizi isteyebiliriz.
  3. 30 gün içinde yanıt verir, saklamakla yükümlü olmadığımız kayıtları sileriz. Saklamak zorunda olduklarımız (3. madde) o yükümlülük biter bitmez silinir; neyin neden saklandığını size bildiririz.

Ödeme ortağınızın tuttukları (kimlik, kart, ödeme geçmişi) o ortak üzerinden silinir.

Çocuklar

Uygulama 18 yaşından küçüklere yönelik değildir.

Değişiklikler

Bu metin değişirse tarihi de onunla birlikte değişir.
